KANSAS CITY MO. (May 6, 2017) – (First Round | Second Round) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) officially released the first and second round pairings for the 2017 NAIA Men's Golf National Championships at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill., on Friday. The 66th annual event will take place May 16-19.
The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) team, which qualified for the tournament after captured the Red River Athletic Conference Golf Championship last month, will be paired with Dalton State University and William Jessup University. Their first round play gets underway on May 16 at 9:10 a.m.
On day two, the three teams will tee off at 1:40 p.m.
Head Coach Alan E. Baxter commented, "We are No. 8 in the nation with both Golfstat and the NAIA's coaches' poll. We are very young, having only one senior, along with two juniors and two freshmen."
