WACO, TEXAS (Feb. 9, 2021) - Kalani Ketchens (SR/San Antonio, Texas) of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) was tabbed as the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week for Feb. 1-7. OLLU's Anissa Tamez (SR/San Antonio, Texas) was recognized as the RRAC Setter of the Week, and Alyssa Marquez (JR/Albuquerque, N.M.) was honored as the RRAC Defender of the Week for the second straight time.
Ketchens, a senior outside hitter from San Antonio, pounded out 33 kills in a 3-0 week for the Saints. She posted highs of 14 and 11 kills in back-to-back wins over Xavier University (XULA) in the Big Easy Blastoff. Ketchens registered a .236 attack percentage with only 12 errors for the week. She leads the conference with a .241 hitting percentage and 62 kills. OLLU improved to 5-1 on the season.
