HAWKINS, TEXAS (Sept. 21, 2018) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) volleyball team remains undefeated in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) after sweeping Jarvis Christian College 3-0. With the win, the Saints move to 6-6 overall and 3-0 in conference, while the Bulldogs drop to 6-8 overall and 0-2 in conference.
Head Coach Jeremiah Tiffin said, "Our phrase for the week has been 'extend.' We're learning what to do when we get a lead and tonight we did a great job extending that lead. Being so young, it's a learning process but we're taking baby steps in that process.
"Our middles were fantastic tonight but that doesn't happen unless our passers and setters get them the ball. I thought we played controlled and calm throughout the match and that allowed us to take care of business.
"I'm looking forward to a tough match tomorrow against a very good Wiley team and extend our great start to conference play."
