SAN ANTONIO (April 12, 2018) - "The Republic Services presents the Fourth Annual Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) Saints Golf Classic and Dinner" was a huge success. The event took place on April 6.
The tournament, typically held in the fall, had to be rescheduled due to effects of Hurricane Harvey that devastated the state in late August 2017. Many of the sponsors and participants involved in the tournament dedicated their time and efforts to helping those in need and therefore, could not participate in the tournament. OLLU graciously moved the date to the spring to accommodate its dedicated sponsors. It is expected that the event will be moved back to the fall in 2018.
Head Golf Coach and organizer of the event Alan E. Baxter commented, "It has grown bigger and better every year. Republic Services has been the headline sponsor every year, and without them, we would not have the success that we have enjoyed."
