KANSAS CITY, MO. (May 31, 2017) – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Tuesday that 395 women's softball student-athletes have been named 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Softball Scholar-Athletes. For the first time in history, Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) has more than one included in the list. Jana Arena (JR/Sugar Land, Texas) and Taylor Doege (JR/San Antonio, Texas) earned the honor, while Lauren Garza (JR/McAllen, Texas) repeats as an NAIA Scholar Athlete.
