BALDWIN CITY, KAN. (Feb. 18, 2017) – Small College Basketball (SCB) announce its second Watch List of 2017 for the Bevo Francis Award consisting of 50 of the finest men's basketball players in the country, who compete in the affiliations of NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA Division I, NAIA Division II, USCAA and NCCAA.
Our Lady of the Lake University's Joe Jackson (SR/San Antonio, Texas), who was selected to the Top 100 list on Jan. 15, has made the Top 50 Watch List. He leads the Saints in scoring with 20.01 points per game. Earlier this month, Jackson became the fastest Saints to score 1,000 points in a career -- he did it in 51 games. He is already the Saints all-time leader in rebounds average and blocks. Jackson is sixth in the NAIA in blocks/game (2.087), ninth in points per game (20.887), 10th in total blocks (48), 16th in total scoring (462) and 18th in field goal percentage (.528).
