ALEXANDRIA, LA. (Feb. 28, 2022) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's basketball team downed Louisiana Christian University (LCU) 70-54 in the semifinals of the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Tournament on Monday. The Saints improve to 19-10 overall this season.
Head Coach Jillian Flores Bennett said, "We had some shooting woes today, but our defensive pressure really propelled us to the win. We controlled the pace of the game which is huge, because LCU is a very scrappy and relentless team. We have all the pieces on and off the court and we are excited to put that on display in the championship tomorrow."
