HOBBS, N.M. (Feb. 7, 2022) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's basketball team beat the University of the Southwest (USW) 80-71 on Sunday. The Saints have won seven straight games and are 11-10 overall and 8-0 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Mustangs drop to 2-18 overall and 1-8 in the conference.
Head Coach Jillian Flores Bennett commented, "We have battled a lot of adversity in the last few weeks with game postponements and bad weather. This team is learning the importance of discipline and how to prepare regardless of who we play. I'm happy with the win but we are looking forward to bouncing back this week."
