SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 24, 2022) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) softball team unveiled its brand-new press box and dedicated it in honor of long-time Sports Information Director (SID) Patty Constantin during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Jan. 15. Constantin has been the SID for OLLU since the university kicked off its intercollegiate athletics program in 2006.
During the ceremony, Constantin commented that the softball team has been a part of OLLU since the 2009-2010 season and has played in close to 250 games at home, most of which she has worked. "I am proud to have been here for most of those games. Our sports information staff has braved through scorching sunlight and a few games have been played in freezing temperatures, so now having these awesome facilities are more welcome than I can say."
