SEGUIN, TEXAS (Oct. 19, 2021) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) volleyball team lost 3-0 to NCAA D3 Texas Lutheran University (TLU) on Tuesday. The Saints move to 14-4 overall and remain at 8-0 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Bulldogs improve to 13-9 overall.
Head Coach Scott Mattera commented, "It was a really disappointing night all around. Texas Lutheran played amazing and it was one of those matches that everything they touched turned to gold. They got every call, and we just couldn't catch a break. Those nights happen, but we need to respond better. Hopefully this experience brings us back to earth a bit, and we accept our responsibility to learn from it and get better."
