ABILENE, TEXAS (March 20-21, 2021) - The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's and women's track teams participated in the Wess KiIttley Invitational sponsored by Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
According to Head Coach Patrick Torres, several athletes had great performances. These include: Briana Pantoja set a new personal record (PR) of 62.9 seconds in the 400m (old pr 63.4); Nathaniel Rodriguez set a new PR in the 5000m of 16:08 (old pr of 16:30); David Dada matches his PR of 6'0" (1.8 meters) in the high jump; Tamaj Gordon hit a PR in the long jump of 21'3"; Kimber Watson won her heat of the 1500 in a season best 5:26; Robbie Espericueta and Viridiana Zuniga go 1-2 on their heat of the 800m; Destiny Joseph set a PR in the 100m of 12.7; Isaac Martínez hit a PR in the 5000m of 16:17.
