HAWKINS, TEXAS (Oct. 6, 2016) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's soccer team blanked the Jarvis Christian College Bulldogs 3-0 this afternoon. The win moves the Saints to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC), while Jarvis drops to 2-11 overall and 0-3 in conference.
Head Coach Shane Hurley commented, "The overall team attitude and effort was positive, We made changes and were able to work with the depth off the bench in a positive manner."
The win marks Hurley's 100th win as a collegiate head men's soccer coach. Hurley was the first coach hired at OLLU in 2006, and in this his 10th season, his overall record for the men's team is 100-59-8. Hurley also was the head coach for the women's team from 2008-2012 and he compiled an overall record of 57-27-4.
