SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 26, 2020) – Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) is proud to welcome Zach Luevanos as baseball assistant coach. He replaces Jeremy Flores, who served as an assistant for the Saints since its inaugural season in 2015. Flores left for an assistant position at his alma mater Texas A&M University at Kingsville.
"I am extremely excited to get Coach Luevanos on staff here at OLLU," said OLLU baseball Head Coach Bryan Aughney. "He brings with him a tremendous winning attitude dating back to his high school days. He has a great overall knowledge of the game and the skills to go with it. I am also excited to have him dive in as our Pitching Coach as he has worked with several high-level coaches in developing his plan to continue the development of our pitching staff. As a recruiter, I am also confident in his abilities to continue our success as a program in identifying players that will continue our success in the classroom and on the field."
