SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 4, 2016) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) Saints volleyball team took a break from Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) play to host Schreiner University, winning in four sets (25-15, 20-25, 25-12, 25-11). The Saints increase their winning record at home to 22 consecutive wins. They have not lost on their home court since Oct. 23, 2014.
The Saints were able to recover from a rough second set in which they committed eight attack errors with a balanced attack, finding quality production from middle blockers Jessica Walaski (SR/San Antonio, Texas) and Kalani Wood (SO/San Antonio, Texas) (who combined for 15 kills, one solo block and four assisted blocks). With the victory, the Saints improve to 13-5 for the season and improve to 8-2 all-time against NCAA DIII Schreiner University.
