GEORGETOWN, TEXAS (Sept. 25, 2019) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) volleyball team fell 3-0 to Southwestern University (SU) and are now 10-2 on the season.
The Saints led early in every set but couldn't capitalize on the momentum. Southwestern tallied 41 kills and 10 aces. Anyssa Rivera (SR/El Paso, Texas) led the team with seven kills and 13 assists. OLLU struggled on the attack by only having a .111 killing percentage. This was only the second loss of the season for the Saints, ending a seven-game winning streak.
