BROOKINGS, S.D. (Feb. 28, 2019) – For the second time in three years, Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) track and field standout Miki Romain (JR/Austin, Texas) has qualified for the NAIA Women's Indoor Track and Field National Championships. Romain qualified in 2017 in the 60m hurdles, and this year, she has qualified for the same event.
Head Coach Stephen Sherman commented, "We are very proud of and excited for Miki. No one outworks her, and it is nice to see that pay off for her as a multi-time national meet qualifier. From the beginning, she has gone a long way in helping to put OLLU Track and Field on the map. What is more is she is doing it in the classroom and out in the community too. She is simply a great representative of our university and everyone at OLLU should be proud of all that she has accomplished, and I know we all wish her the best."
