[Women's Basketball] OLLU alumna Courtney Bayliss now playing professional ball in Australia

SPECIAL FEATURE (May 23, 2016) -- Courtney Bayliss spent just two years at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) but the role she played on the Saints' basketball team was massive. Her prowess on the court was not the only thing she contributed. She left OLLU as a scholar athlete and a graduate with a degree in kinesiology.

Bayliss had begun her graduate studies in organizational leadership at OLLU when she got the offer to join the South West Slammers, a semiprofessional State Basketball League (SBL) team based in Bunbury, Western Australia, near her hometown of Perth.  The opportunity to return home after spending  five years in the United States – first in Alabama and then in Texas – was something she could not pass up.
