KANSAS CITY, MO. (Nov.. 30, 2018) – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Friday that 597 women's volleyball student-athletes have been named 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Selected from Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) is Mariza Cardenas.
In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
Cardenas earned a 3.67 GPA.
