CHICKASHA, OKLA. (Nov. 24, 2018) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's basketball team closed out the Festival of Light Basketball Classic and fell to Southwestern Christian University (SCU) 107-101 in overtime. The loss for the Saints moves them to 1-5, while the Eagles improve to 5-3.
Head Coach Chris Dial said, "Counter to what we have been doing, we started slow and had to pick up momentum later. We did a great job after being down 20 or so, to climb all the way back. Right now our guys are learning what it means to play together and the necessity of representing our university in a first-class manner. Two techs hurt us tonight and as a program, we have to act with professionalism and control what we can control. At the end of the day, this team is better coming home than we were leaving it a week ago. Now we have to get ready to play St. Mary's University about 36 hours after we get back."
